Neo cricket contests

Asia Cup which is commencing from 15th June 2010 live and exclusive on neo cricket. Through research and insights into the previous ASIA CUP we realized that we have not won the cup for 15 years and it’s not the lack of form, dearth of talent; it’s not the pitches or the coach.   Emerged a thought - We all have our “isms, totkas and beliefs on what it takes to support our team and make it win. These superstitions might be funny, strange or even silly but our cricket crazy nation believes it works. After all a fan’s power of belief to help the team is insurmountable and that is the evergreen insight for our Asia Cup campaign, which is the biggest battle of Asia.

Emerged an online and offline campaign Bano India Ka lucky Charm around the central theme of bringing luck to the Indian team for winning the long awaited trophy

Contest 1: 31st May – 15th June

There are currently 2 contests running under the campaign “Bano India Ka Lucky Charm”. One is a Daily Contest where people need to come up witty and humorous reasons as to why they are India’s Lucky Charm. And the second is theGrand Prize Winner. The participant needs to upload a 2minute video of him cheering for India. The best video gets to go to Sri Lanka for the finals of Asia Cup. These contests end on June 14th.

Contest 2: June 16th – June 25th

To engage all cricket lovers and also keep their hopes intact on Indian Cricket, we came up with another unique contest “Predict2win”. This contest allows all the participants to guess the score of the match when India plays. . The participant who predicts the score closest to India’s score would be the winner. We would declare around 4 winners (3 India matches and the finals) and award them with mobile phones.

The purpose of our campaign is to revive the trust of our fans in Indian Cricket and also try to boost the morale of our cricketers.
